Platypus Adventures has partnered with The Junkyard of Greenville to provide functional movement workouts adapted to our athletes needs. These classes are geared for individuals 12 and older with physical, neurological, genetic, and neurodivergent disabilities.

These workouts are designed to:

  • 1. Build Stronger Bodies & Reduces Injury Risk
    Strength training helps develop muscle, bone density, and joint stability, reducing the risk of injuries in sports and daily activities. It also promotes better posture and movement mechanics.
  • 2. Boost Confidence & Mental Well-Being
    As kids see progress in their strength and abilities, they gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Strength training also releases endorphins, which can improve mood, focus, and overall mental health.
  • 3. Encourage Lifelong Fitness & Healthy Habits
    Regular movement can help maintain or improve range of motion and coordination.
